What does Findable help me do?

Findable helps you understand why customers may struggle to find your business in search and AI answers. Connect its MCP server to Claude or Codex, then share your website. Findable checks public pages, samples answers to customer questions, compares relevant competitors and proposes useful changes. Your report separates observed problems from missing evidence and includes drafts you can review.

Do I need a Findable account to run an audit?

You can start an audit through your assistant without a Findable account. To keep a report in your account, open the private report link, sign in with an email code and choose Save to your account. The report link connects that specific audit. Signing in does not automatically import your assistant’s identity, other conversations or tool connections.

Do I need Google Search Console, Semrush or Profound?

No. Findable starts with public evidence. Google Search Console can add actual Google indexing and search performance data. If your assistant already has authorized access, ask it to select your website’s property and share a dated report with Findable. You can also share relevant exports from Semrush, Profound or analytics. Include the source, website, dates and report coverage. Findable receives the selected data, not your login or a continuing connection.

What are SEO, AEO and GEO?

SEO means search engine optimization: helping search engines discover and understand useful pages. AEO means answer engine optimization, and GEO means generative engine optimization. People use the latter terms for making information useful in AI-generated answers. The work overlaps: clear answers, accessible pages and credible evidence help people and retrieval systems understand your offer. None of these methods guarantees a ranking, recommendation or citation.

Does an audit show whether ChatGPT or Claude recommends me?

Findable’s public audit can sample two unbranded customer questions using OpenAI API web search when available. These are dated samples, not tests of your personal ChatGPT or Claude app session. Answers vary with the question, engine, time and context. A mention, a recommendation and a citation are different observations. A missing citation in one answer does not prove that your business never appears. Findable labels unavailable checks and private metrics as unknown.

How does Findable choose competitors?

Findable uses your website’s offer, likely buyer and relevant market to research up to five competitors. You can suggest competitor websites in your request. Findable checks those public sites using the same audit criteria and shows the sources and observation dates. A competitor’s useful answer can reveal a gap to investigate; copying the page does not guarantee that you will outrank it.

Can Findable make changes in Framer, WordPress or Vercel?

Findable proposes copy and specific website changes. Your assistant can apply a change through a separate authorized website tool after you review the draft and confirm the correct project and domain. You can also make the change yourself or give the draft to your developer. Findable does not inherit your other MCP connections, edit your site directly or maintain publishing credentials in your Findable account.

When should I expect results, and how will I know?

Check a published change immediately to confirm the page works and contains the intended answer. Review indexing within seven days as an initial checkpoint, not an indexing deadline. Use complete 28-day observation periods to assess search and customer actions; review again after 56 days if evidence remains sparse. Longer buying cycles may need more time. Track your actual outcome, such as qualified inquiries or completed trials, alongside search clicks and dated AI-answer samples. Findable cannot promise more traffic, citations or sales.

Who can read my report, and what does Findable retain?

Anyone with an audit's secret ID or link can read its result. Result links expire 7 days after the audit starts. Save an audit to your account before its link expires to keep access. Findable retains audits and reuses recent public website research. Customer-provided data stays private. Keep the link private unless you choose to share it.

What does the pilot cost?

Findable is currently a free pilot. Your assistant or any outside data provider can have its own account requirements and charges. You do not need to buy an SEO or AI-answer tracking subscription to start a public audit.
